GarField/Matrics has over 20 years experience in designing and supplying silicon. We can tailor the services we offer to provide what our customer needs to complement their skills.
We have invested in the state-of-the-art tools required to do our projects. We can offer full turnkey design facilities for analogue and digital designs. Alternatively, we can design and layout part of our customer's chip, for example an analogue block, and deliver GDSII for integration into their chip. We have extensive experience in System-on-Chip (SoC) assembly and we can integrate IP from many sources with our customer's RTL and our analogue blocks into a successful product. We verify completed designs at silicon level using industry standard tools which are fully supported by the appropriate foundry.
GarField/Matrics offers the service of feasibilty study preparation to suggest a particular solution or solutions for our customer's requirements. We can also undertake to prepare a feasibilty study to identify a suitable technology for our customer's chip.
Our relationships with foundries, test facilities and package houses mean that we can deliver prototypes quickly. Once our customer has verified and approved their prototype, we will manage the transition into production to get product to market on time.
